### Download AdsPower

### Create a New Profile

Click the **New Profile** button.

### Add Residential Proxies <a href="#id-2.-add-proxies" id="id-2.-add-proxies"></a>

Scroll down or select the **Proxy** tab to view the proxy settings section and fill out the form as shown below:

**Proxy type**: `HTTP`, `HTTPS`, or `SOCKS5`

**Host**: `pr.oxylabs.io`

**Port**: `7777`

**Proxy username:** `customer-USERNAME`

**Proxy password:** `PASSWORD`

Append the `customer-` text to your username.

### Use additional parameters

You may also use **additional parameters** with Residential Proxies to set the geo-location (country, state, city, and etc.) and control sessions. ### Check your proxy connection <a href="#id-3.-check-proxy-connection" id="id-3.-check-proxy-connection"></a>

You can check if the proxy works correctly by clicking the **Check Proxy** button. You should see the following confirmation:

Once you’re done configuring the browser settings, click **OK** at the bottom. Now, this new profile with proxies should be available in the **Profiles** tab. Launch the browser by simply clicking **Open**.
