# iOS

**iOS** is a mobile operating system developed by Apple for iPhone and iPad devices. Follow this guide to set up your Mobile Proxies on iOS device.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**NOTE**: iOS only allows using an `HTTP` proxy on Wi-Fi network connections. So, you won't be able to set up `HTTPS` or `SOCKS5` proxies and use proxies over your cellular network.
{% endhint %}

The following screenshots were taken using iOS 16.1.

**Step 1.** Open iPhone **Settings.**

**Step 2.** Select **Wi-Fi**.

<figure><img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2Fi33sZFAQ2gPh9cD8fxYT%2Fios-2.png?alt=media&#x26;token=141d9fd8-115b-403b-9092-11bbd44e1830" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 3.** Click the blue info icon next to the Wi-Fi network you’re currently connected to (a connection is indicated by a blue checkmark.)

<figure><img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2F951hkwCG1sYaTD0GGLF0%2Fios-3.png?alt=media&#x26;token=d8826922-5a9f-440e-aaa9-fddd017c3055" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 4.** Out of the three options, select the **Manual** configuration.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2Fjnhwp3SCQfU0tadcVdbP%2Fios-4.png?alt=media&#x26;token=93be2e94-4bb0-40d5-bfe7-82d1beb95e99" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Step 5.** Enter your proxy server details and credentials:

**Server:** `pr.oxylabs.io`

**Port:** `7777`

**Authentication:** `on`

{% hint style="info" %}
If needed, you can use country-specific entries. For example, if you enter `us-pr.oxylabs.io` in the **Server** field and `10000` under the **Port** field, you’ll get a US-based exit node. To see a full list of country-specific entry nodes or if you need a sticky session, please check our [documentation](https://developers.oxylabs.io/proxies/mobile-proxies/location-settings/country#country-specific-entry-nodes).
{% endhint %}

**Username:** `customer-username`

**Password:** `password`

{% hint style="warning" %}
Don't forget to add the `customer-` part to your username.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2F10nWEtz18gWGa1j3htRN%2Fresi-ios.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5e2aedfe-fa31-4a82-9151-c17ebca9dd5f" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
if you’re using a whitelisted IP, keep **Authentication** toggled off. Otherwise, turn **Authentication** on for the **Username** and **Password** fields to appear. There, enter your Oxylabs user credentials – these are the same credentials you typed in while creating a new sub-user in the [Oxylabs dashboard.](https://dashboard.oxylabs.io/en/)
{% endhint %}

**Step 6.** On the upper-right corner, click **Save**.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2FiIWAtGBK4h8l9Uq9BoYY%2Fios-7.png?alt=media&#x26;token=66a04884-2486-4b5d-9c7a-9ed68d145bd4" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you want to disable the proxy, simply click **Off** and then **Save** again.

That's it! You're now using Mobile Proxies on iOS. You can find the original integration post on the [Oxylabs website](https://oxylabs.io/resources/integrations/iphone).
