The Teams feature allows account owners to collaborate with their team by granting them access to the .
Currently, Oxylabs Teams consist of two roles:
Team owner – The account holder who manages the team, invites members, and controls subscriptions.
Team member – A user added to the team with restricted permissions.
Team members have limited access to account management features. Specifically:
Only the team owner can add new members.
Team members cannot start trials or purchase subscriptions.
Users with active trials or subscriptions (including PAYG and monthly plans) must cancel them before joining a team.
A user can belong to only one team at a time. To create a new team, they must first leave their current team.
To invite a new team member:
Navigate to My account → Team section
Click + Invite team member
Enter the teammate’s email address and send the invitation.
Note: You can resend invitations or remove team members at any time.
The invitee will receive both an email invitation and a dashboard notification (if they already have an account).
Once the invitation is accepted, their status will change to Active.
From the team member’s perspective, the onboarding process is as follows:
They receive an email invitation to join the team.
Clicking Accept invitation directs them to the Oxylabs dashboard.
If they don’t have an account, they must register first.
If they already have an account, after logging in, they will see a pop-up invitation to join the team.
Once they accept, they gain access to all dashboard features (except subscriptions and team management).
In My Account → Team, they will see their team membership details.
They can leave the team at any time by clicking Leave the team.
Users can transfer team ownership in three simple steps:
The current team owner selects the new owner from the existing team.
They confirm the transfer in the dashboard and via email verification.
The new owner accepts the invitation via the dashboard or email.
Once the transfer is completed, the new owner will gain full administrative control, while the previous owner will become a regular team member.
