Proxifier is a universal proxy enabler for Windows, macOS, and Android that allows applications that don't natively support proxies to connect to the internet through a proxy server.
This guide will demonstrate how to set up Oxylabs' Dedicated Datacenter Proxies with Proxifier.
Download and install Proxifier and make use of the 31-day free trial. On Windows, you can also get a portable version.
Go to Proxy Servers and Add a new proxy.
Specify the following if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via the dashboard.
Type: HTTPS
or SOCKS5
Host: ddc.oxylabs.io
Port: 8001
For Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, the port indicates the sequential number of an IP address from the acquired list.
Enable Authentication and enter your Oxylabs proxy user’s credentials. Use the same username and password you entered to create a new proxy user in the Oxylabs dashboard.
NOTE: The screenshots below show an example using Oxylabs' Residential Proxies. If you're using Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, adjust the proxy details accordingly.
Go to Proxification Rules and Add a new rule.
Browse for an application (locate an .exe
file) and select your newly added proxy as an Action.
You can rearrange the proxification rule priority from top to bottom.
This guide is also available for Residential Proxies, ISP Proxies, Mobile Proxies, Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, and Datacenter Proxies.
