Oxy® Proxy Extension for Chrome

Oxy® Proxy Extension is a proxy management extension for Chrome. It is free and works with any proxy provider of your choice.

Follow these steps to integrate Oxylabs Datacenter Proxies:

Step 1. Download and click the extension icon to open the application.

Step 2. Click the +Add proxy button. Click it to continue.

Step 3. Add proxy profile, fill in the details:

Name: Proxy name

Proxy type: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5

Proxy IP: dc.oxylabs.io

Port: 8000

You can also specify geo-location, for example, the US, within the user authentication string: user-USERNAME-country-US:PASSWORD. See our documentation for more details.

Username: user-username

Password: password

Make sure you've added the user- part to your username.

Step 4. Finally, click Save changes.

Step 5. Open the extension and click Connect.

That's it. You are now using proxies with automatically rotating IP addresses.

Static sessions

If you require a sticky session, use a port 8001 and up.

For the Pay-per-IP subscription, the port is the sequential number assigned to an IP address from the given list. Thus, port 8001 uses the first IP address from your list.

For the Pay-per-traffic subscription, port 8001 picks a random IP address but stays consistent during a session. Here, you can use ports within the range of 8001 to 63000.

Then, open the extension window and connect to the newly created proxy.

You can also check out our free Oxy® Proxy Manager app for Android. It allows you to easily add and manage proxies as well as switch between multiple IPs with a simple one-click connection.
