URL
See how to scrape any eBay URL of your choice.
The ebay source retrieves content from various eBay pages. Simply provide the direct URL, and our API will use it exactly as provided without stripping parameters or making any modifications.
Currently, our API only provides HTML output for this page type. However, you can easily build your own parser if you would like to get JSON-structured data.
Request samples
The samples below illustrate how you can get eBay pages.
curl 'https://realtime.oxylabs.io/v1/queries' \
--user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD' \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d '{
"source": "ebay",
"url": "https://www.ebay.com/globaldeals"
}'import requests
from pprint import pprint
# Structure payload.
payload = {
'source': 'ebay',
'url': 'https://www.ebay.com/globaldeals'
}
# Get response.
response = requests.request(
'POST',
'https://realtime.oxylabs.io/v1/queries',
auth=('USERNAME', 'PASSWORD'),
json=payload
)
# Instead of response with job status and results url, this will return the
# JSON response with the result.
pprint(response.json())We use synchronous Realtime integration method in our examples. If you would like to use Proxy Endpoint or asynchronous Push-Pull integration, refer to the integration methods section.
