Protocols
Learn about using Dedicated ISP Proxies with supported protocols and requirements for each type.
HTTP
Our documentation includes code examples showcasing how to connect to the proxies using HTTP protocol. The protocol is supported by common libraries and third-party software.
HTTPS
You can also use the fully encrypted connection using HTTPS protocol for an extra layer of security. For that, you have to add ‘https://’ to your proxy entry point. For example: https://disp.oxylabs.io:8000
curl -x https://disp.oxylabs.io:8000 -U user-USERNAME:PASSWORD https://ip.oxylabs.io/location SOCKS5
Oxylabs Dedicated ISP Proxies support both TCP and UDP connections.
For using SOCKS5 protocol, you have to add socks5h:// to your proxy entry point. For example: socks5h://disp.oxylabs.io:8000
curl -x socks5h://user-USERNAME:[email protected]:8000 https://ip.oxylabs.io/locationLast updated
