# Hotel Details

Scrape parsed details and booking-site prices for a single hotel on Google Travel from its hotel page link.

The `google` source with `"parse": true` can return parsed data for a single Google Travel hotel page. Pass the hotel's page link as the `url` to retrieve its details, guest ratings, and the booking sites offering it.

{% hint style="info" %}
To find hotels first, use the [**Travel: Hotels**](/products/web-scraper-api/targets/search-engines/google/travel-hotels.md) scraper, which returns hotel search results.
{% endhint %}

## Getting the hotel URL

You can get the hotel page link in two ways:

* `details_url` result from a [Travel: Hotels](/products/web-scraper-api/targets/search-engines/google/travel-hotels.md) search result.
* Using [Travel: Hotels](/products/web-scraper-api/targets/search-engines/google/travel-hotels.md) returned `property_token` (e.g. `https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/entity/<property_token>`)

## Request samples

In this example, we make a request to retrieve parsed details for a single hotel by its Google Travel page link.

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="cURL" %}

```shell
curl 'https://data.oxylabs.io/v1/queries' \
--user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD' \
        "parse": true
    }'
```

{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Python" %}

```python
    'parse': True
}
# Get response.
response = requests.request(
    'POST',
    'https://data.oxylabs.io/v1/queries',
# Print prettified response to stdout.
We use the [**Push-Pull**](/products/web-scraper-api/integration-methods/push-pull.md) integration method in our examples. Submitting a job returns the job ID immediately, not the result. Once the job status is `done`, retrieve the results with `GET https://data.oxylabs.io/v1/queries/{job_id}/results`. See [**Push-Pull**](/products/web-scraper-api/integration-methods/push-pull.md) for checking the job status, callbacks and batch queries.
Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:
```
GET https://developers.oxylabs.io/products/web-scraper-api/targets/search-engines/google/travel-hotels/hotel-details.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```
`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.
Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
