Fair Usage Policy

Learn about the fair usage policy of Dedicated Datacenter Proxies acquired via self-service. Understand bandwidth limits and acceptable use guidelines.

To ensure stability of services and prevent any potential traffic abuse, Oxylabs limits the concurrent sessions of provided Dedicated Datacenter proxies. The available concurrent sessions depend on the amount of traffic used per 1 Dedicated Datacenter proxy during a billing cycle:

• Until 100 GBs of usage per 1 Dedicated Datacenter proxy in a month is reached, up to 100 concurrent sessions are available per 1 purchased Dedicated Datacenter proxy (For example, purchasing 100 Dedicated Datacenter proxies means that 10,000 concurrent sessions will be available until 10,000 GB of usage is reached);
• If 100 GBs of usage per 1 Dedicated Datacenter proxy is reached, the available concurrent sessions are reduced to 10 concurrent sessions per 1 Dedicated Datacenter proxy for the remainder of the ongoing billing cycle (For example, purchasing 100 Dedicated Datacenter proxies and reaching 10,000 GB of usage means that 1,000 concurrent sessions will be available until the end of the current billing cycle).

Proxy usage is tracked automatically and an email notification is sent when 80% and 100% of the data allowance is reached. Once 100% of the fair usage limit is reached, the concurrent session limit is applied automatically.
