# Location settings for proxies
Learn about location settings for different proxy types to access accurate web data worldwide.
Geo-location settings allow you to connect to a proxy server based in a particular geographic location. As a result, you’ll be able to access and see content as real users would from the specified location.

### Datacenter Proxies per IP
We utilize `https://ip.oxylabs.io/location` to determine the location of IPs. To access an IP from a specific location, you don't need to include any additional parameters. Just send a request to the port corresponding to the IP assigned to the desired location.
### Dedicated Datacenter Proxies
#### Enterprise
When you want to connect to a specific geo-location using Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, all you have to do is send a request using the IP assigned to your desired location.
We can provide proxy IPs located in particular countries, cities, or states. If you need city and state-level precision, please contact your **Account Manager** or **Customer Support** to receive IPs from the exact locations.
#### Self-Service
You can find all available locations of Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies in the dashboard. For country-level targeting imply make a request using the port that’s associated with the proxy IP based in your desired location.
If you’re using proxy rotation, then you must add the `country-` parameter, so that IPs would be picked from the specified country’s list. Visit our [documentation](/products/proxies/dedicated-datacenter-proxies/self-service/location-settings.md) to learn more.
### ISP Proxies
We utilize `https://ip.oxylabs.io/location` to determine the location of IPs. To access an IP from a specific location, you don't need to include any additional parameters. Just send a request to the port corresponding to the IP assigned to the desired location.

You can choose your preferred locations and premium ASNs during the initial setup in the dashboard. Available premium ASN providers include Comcast, Verizon, Orange, Vodafone, and more.
