# Can I use IP whitelisting for authentication when using the free Datacenter IPs?

Yes, you can use IP whitelisting as an authentication method with the free Datacenter IPs.\
This allows you to specify your own IP addresses from which you'll access the proxies. Please note that our fair usage policy still applies regardless of the authentication method used.
