# Payments & Invoices

Manage your payment methods and billing details, and learn more about invoices and subscription cancellations.

The[ Oxylabs dashboard](https://dashboard.oxylabs.io/en/registration) allows you to manage your billing information, payment methods, and access invoices from one platform. All payments are processed by our third-party payment providers:

* Card
* PayPal
* Google Pay
* Apple Pay (via Stripe)

{% hint style="success" %}
We never store your card details directly. All checkout and payment-method management happens through your provider's secure, hosted interface.
{% endhint %}

## Managing payment methods

To add, update, or remove a payment method:

1. Go to **Billing & Spending** in the dashboard.
2. Select the **Current plan** tab.
3. Click the **triple-dot** menu.
4. Select **Manage subscription**.

<img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2Fji9s4KrpanPjVGYSmeKe%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=c51ab56f-d625-4859-b450-a2b2eccabca5" alt="" height="311" width="624">

{% hint style="info" %}
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access to the service and your remaining credit balance until then. Any unused balance at the end of the final cycle expires, and no refunds are issued for unused balance.
{% endhint %}

If your subscription is already inactive, you'll see a **Resubscribe** option in place of Cancel subscription.

## Receipts and invoices

You can view and download your invoices from **Billing & Spending** section's **Invoices** tab.

<img src="https://63892162-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FzrXw45naRpCZ0Ku9AjY1%2Fuploads%2FLbx4z0krKuSg0GrFuEvx%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=b9cd8d9c-747d-4be0-8ae0-26c6a54143eb" alt="" height="180" width="624">

Your account generates two types of financial documents:

<table><thead><tr><th width="153.5">Document</th><th>When it's generated</th><th>What it means</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Payment Receipt</strong></td><td>Immediately after any successful payment (subscription activation, renewal, or top-up)</td><td>Confirms funds were received and credit was added. Not a legal/tax document.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Final Invoice</strong></td><td>At the end of each billing cycle</td><td>Your official Tax Invoice, marked <strong>Paid in Full</strong>, detailing how your commitment was used that cycle.</td></tr></tbody></table>

## If a payment fails

If your recurring charge fails on your billing date, you enter a **7-day grace period**:

* Your subscription and usage remain active, but your remaining balance is capped at 25% usage during this window.
* Payment retries are handled automatically at optimized intervals – no action is needed on your end while retries are in progress.
* You can still **upgrade** during the grace period, but you can't top up.

Your service is suspended if either of the following happens first: the 7-day grace period ends without a successful payment, or your balance reaches $0.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If your service is suspended due to a failed payment, any assigned IPs are released. Your instance configurations are preserved, but you'll need to re-add IPs after reactivating. You may receive different IPs than before.

To reactivate, purchase a new plan. A new billing cycle starts on the reactivation date.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://developers.oxylabs.io/dashboard/payments-and-invoices.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
