# YouTube Subtitles

Web Scraper API now supports [YouTube subtitles and closed captions (CC) extraction](https://developers.oxylabs.io/scraping-solutions/web-scraper-api/targets/youtube/youtube-subtitles) with a new source – `youtube_subtitles`. Users can now retrieve `auto_generated` and `user_provided` captions by providing a YouTube video ID and subtitles language code.
